Limitations are the necessary condition of my work. I use everything immediately available to solve a lack of material, space, time. I also like to mix all the different aspects of my life, all the different ‘me,’ inspired by Cindy Sherman, so I paint on surgical scrubs from work prepped with Gesso, or tea towels or table cloths full of my everyday marks. The canvas is too small, I finish the picture with Lego bricks… all this makes my work interesting and unique.
